Cove Park and Red Noses 12/03/2011
Went to Cove Park to write for a week with the National Theatre of Scotland. I didn't realise how it would affect me. Wrote a new play and felt strange as the insides of my head seemed to expand into the massive space of the mountains and loch in front of my 'pod'. Dreamy. Now I'm busy being a 33 year old reindeer in the Arches Christmas show. Mmmmmm. Add Comment Another great wee trailer for Kes 09/16/2011
Thanks to Paul Fitzpatrick at Catherine Wheels Kes is about to take off 09/12/2011
Been working on an adaptation of Kes with Catherine Wheels in rehearsal for the last five weeks. We're just going into tech week now. This is the bit I get excited about, when the script is in place and the lush stuff happens. All the lights designed by Jeanine Davies, the fantastic sound by Danny Krass and the video projection by Jonathan Charles. And I think it's all going to make something quite special. I hope so. Getting into birds. 09/01/2011

Kestrels Fly 07/28/2011
Finished the 2nd draft of Kes on Saturday. It is interesting. It is like a patchwork of this boy Billy's life. Back and forward it goes and slowly we all want him to just survive. Just keep hold of hope, but whether he will or not I just don't know. What a book. Read it if you have a few hours. It's still an emotional experience. The show will be touring Scotland from 15th October including The Tron, The Traverse, The Lemon Tree and many many other venues. Kappa on the Kindle 06/07/2011
