Kestrels Fly 07/28/2011
Finished the 2nd draft of Kes on Saturday. It is interesting. It is like a patchwork of this boy Billy's life. Back and forward it goes and slowly we all want him to just survive. Just keep hold of hope, but whether he will or not I just don't know. What a book. Read it if you have a few hours. It's still an emotional experience. The show will be touring Scotland from 15th October including The Tron, The Traverse, The Lemon Tree and many many other venues. Kappa on the Kindle 06/07/2011
I wonder if anyone wants to read plays on a kindle. Kappa is available here if you do. Caged nominated for a CATS award 06/03/2011
It's true! It is! Caged has been nominated in the Best Show for Children and Young People section. That's good, innit? 4 days to go till The Dark arrives 05/05/2011
New show The Dark is going great. Just sitting in rehearsals as the tech stuff is slowly added. Incredible projection and art from Kim Beveridge and Emma Moloney and sound from Danny Krass is giving me goosebumps. This show is a thriller about a young girl who starts to suspect her dad of a terrible crime. It'll be at the Imaginate Festival as a Workshop Production. The Dark 04/12/2011
I have a new show at this year's Imaginate festival. The Dark will be a workshop production funded by the the Arts Council's New Work Fund. If you fancy it then have a look here. Caged review from The Scotsman 03/31/2011
Caged review from Mark Fisher 03/29/2011
I think this is a great review. A really interesting examination of the story. "It’s a thrilling, gripping, moving performance – genuinely one for the whole family – which falters only in the last moments with a too-speedy ending, but leaves you with the deep sense of satisfaction of an archetypal tale being vividly retold."
